About us:
We at WQIS have been working in the Rochester welding industry for many years as welders and AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI). We have over 75 years of combined welding experience as well as 35 years of Certified Welding Inspection experience. Everyone at WQIS is also certified Visual Inspection Level II inspectors qualified to ASNT SNT-TC-1A. We have a diverse experience of the local industry be it commercial, transportation, Aerospace, Military/DOD, and medical. WQIS also currently has endorsements ranging from API 1104: Pipeline, AWS D1.1: Structural Steel, D1.2: Structural Aluminum, D17.1: Aerospace, and Welder Performance Qualifier. We also work with a great company for all of your other nondestructive testing needs.
Services:
We offer complete welding qualification and welding inspection services in and around the Rochester area. These services can range from weld test witnessing, where we come to your facility for PQR and Welder Performance Qualification testing and record all the required information. WQIS can complete all related testing and written documents(WPS, PQR, WQTR). We can also come to your facility for piece part weld inspection.
